The Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon acts to build an increasingly dynamic and competitive Lebanese economy on a global scale, promote the common interests of the four regional chambers vis-à-vis the Lebanese Government and other national and international institutions.

The Agency for the Development of Investments in Lebanon (IDAL) is the national investment promotion agency established in 1994 with the aim of promoting Lebanon as a preferred destination for investments, as well as attracting, facilitating and maintaining investments in the country.
IDAL is also responsible for the effective promotion of Lebanese exports, especially agricultural and agro-food products. Placed under the auspices of the President of the Council of Ministers who exercises supervisory power there, IDAL enjoys financial and administrative autonomy.
